As well as preparing our regular fests of music and childish chit-chat for the WeirdGear Radio Show on the superb Ship Full of Bombs Radio (our show is always 2nd Sunday in Month from 8-10pm on www.sfob.co.uk ); Mr Head Gardener contacted us to request 3 exclusive, never heard hour-long mixes to be broadcast on his show in May / June / July 2014.
So we did. What fun it was too. Tracklists are on the Mixcloud pages
Mr May | Lee Maher aka Vaillante - Is Living Through Technology Mix
Mr June | Paul Wolfe aka Wolfephunken | Cosine Mix
Mr July | Paul Barlow aka Voice of Reason | No More Heroes
Each mix is unique to each of the chaps and well worth a gander into their addled minds……
Head Gardener and The Garden of Earthly Delights is on from 10pm for 2 hours every Friday night www.crmk.co.uk
Its our 1st Anniversary on Ship Full Of Bombs Radio on Sunday 9th March from 8-10pm; so we’re going to actually let you know what we might play. tune in sfob.co.uk or TuneIn app
Normally on the show you’d find out as we play it to each other (and you of course) on air.
So we are bringing back Interview from the Gents (toilets of the Railway Hotel) with our Super Special Guest; Andrew Moore of Tumbledryer Babies, Send it to the Seaside and so many other things we cant list them. He can tell you instead during our ‘Parky / Aspel / Wogan’ style interviewing techniques.
There will also be an on-air authentic Cambodian celebration ceremony from Paul Wolfe to add some culture to the event, we’re all really looking forward to that!
We’ll also be playing a back2back2silverback mix of WeirdGear all-time faves containing some or all from: -
De La Soul, St. Etienne, Jimi Hendrix, The JBs, Sonic Youth, Stereolab, Super Furry Animals, The Go Team, Anandar Shankar, The Mohawks, Jim Noir, Django Django, Young Knives, Munk, Frau Muller, Bonde do Role, Sugarcubes, Model500, mbv, Neu!, Ronnie Hazlehurst, The Monkees, Fujiya & Miyagi, Paddy Kingsland and many more…

Sit back, pop your slippers on, make a nice Horlicks toddy and tune in. have some cake too…
